No problems parajumpers frauen rot found in plane in Greensburg crash GREENSBURG Federal investigators say no mechanical problems have been found with a small plane that crashed near a southeastern Indiana airport, killing all four people on board.Dan Baker of the National Transportation Safety Board said Thursday that the plane had fuel when it crashed Sunday evening into a wooded area near the Greensburg airport amid foggy and misty conditions.
The Indianapolis Star reports Baker says pilot Donald Horan of Greensburg had nearly 400 hours of flying experience, including 52 hours flying the parajumpers damen pink single engine Piper that crashed.Horan, his wife Barbara and another couple, parajumpermanteldamen Stephen and Denise Butz, were killed in the crash as they returned from Destin, Florida.The four were returning from a Florida trip with six people aboard a second plane. Bothwell says the pilot of that plane tried to land 20 minutes before Horan, but couldn find the runway and diverted to another airport.
